KartletiX won Macau Kart Grand Prix and RMC International Trophy Asia 2026 with coach Ragnar Veerus.

Prestigious Event in Macau
The first fight for Rotax Grand Finals tickets in 2026 took place as a single-round championship in Macau. RMC International Trophy Asia saw racers from over 20 countries and hosted the Macau International Kart Grand Prix. DD2 field lined up with 3 former Grand Finals Champions from Europe, including last year’s winner Simon Hong. We joined the strong team of Roger Young, supported by MKC Motorsport (ITA) and Kenting Racing (TWN).
The Tight Battle of Champions
Ragnar was narrowly edged in qualifying practice by his own Finnish teammate Axel Saarniala for pole position by just 0.026 seconds.
“We struggled to get going early in the cold conditions,” Ragnar admitted. “We focused hard on race setups which somewhat compromised our one-lap pace.”
The conditions in Macau significantly warmed up for the heats on Saturday. Ragnar took first blood by winning in Heat 1 by half a second.
After a bad start, Ragnar recovered from P5 to P2, just missing out on his Finnish rival in Heat 2 to settle for a front row start in the Superheat.

Final Domination
Sunday started once again in favour of Ragnar as he crossed the line first in the Superheat. This proved crucial to take pole position for the Final.
The Finnish Rotax World Champion chased Ragnar closely for 5 laps. But after that the KartletiX driver built a gap of 2.1 seconds across 20 laps.
“The plan was set and the flow with the kart was great. The tyres took some time to come on; but after that it was a joy to drive.”
“The team behind this was the biggest I’ve ever been part of. And the results of Team Roger Young & MKC Motorsports speak for itself.”

KartletiX coach Ragnar Veerus won his first ever race in Asia and secured the title ahead of his teammates Axel Saarniala and Simon Hong. Ragnar secured Macau Kart Grand Prix victory, the title of RMCIT Asia, and the first available Rotax Grand Finals ticket of 2026 to Portugal.
